NOTICE IS HEREBY given that the First Annual General Meeting (AGM) of The Lawyers’ Society Name will be held on Thursday 20th & Friday 21st February 2025 at the T-Hall Big Water, York Peninsular, Freetown at 9:00 A.M. prompt to transact the following business:
1. To Review, Amend and Adopt the Agenda dated 20th & 21st February 2025
2. To Review, Amend and Adopt the Constitution of The Lawyers’ Society
3. To Elect the Following;
a. Returning Officer(s)
b. Officers/Executive/Board of Directors of The Lawyers’ Society:
4. To Pass Resolutions; and
5. To Transact any other business proper to be transacted at an AGM.
FURTHER TAKE NOTICE THAT a member of the Society eligible to vote at the Meeting is entitled to appoint a Proxy who upon a poll to vote, can vote in his/her stead. Consequently, Members are kindly encouraged to appoint their Proxies from among other registered members who shall attend the closed session. Proxy Forms which can be downloaded from The Lawyers’ Society website https://lawyerssocietysl.org MUST be lodged with the Secretariat on or before Wednesday 19th February 2025. Members are encouraged to download from the Society’s website the draft Constitution of the Society which will be reviewed and adopted at the AGM on Day 2.

6. Treasurer
7. Organizing Secretary
